Why You Can't Fail:

Try a "diet": This, my friend, is the kiss of death. Please don't do this to yourself. Restrictive dieting does NOT work long-term. Sure, you can lose some weight in the short term by strictly limiting your caloric intake, but it's harmful to your body...causing your body to go into "protection mode" because it fears starvation...and storing more body fat.

* Do it on your own: Some people, the rare few, can be successful with a self-monitored fitness and weight loss program. If you have a will of steel and intense self-discipline, you can probably make this work for you. Results will probably come less quickly simply because of the learning curve. And you will need to buy some equipment, block time and commit - really commit - to following through without any outside support or accountability.

Do nothing: Maintain the status quo. If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got. If you were satisfied with what you've got, chances are you wouldn't be reading this letter right now. Choosing to do nothing at all is the worst choice of all. I hope you won't take this path.

Week 1: Challenge Week - Kiama's biggest and best week of fun, fitness & friendship that helps you build a support network of like minded fitness enthusiasts. Challenge Week is the best week of the year at Oxygen Health & Fitness. It puts the emphasis on fun, which is what fitness has to be. Get this into your head right now - fitness has to be something you are prepared to do for the rest of your life. If you can accept that, you may as well enjoy what you're doing and there is no better way to do that than to make exercise fun!

However, don't think Challenge Week is going to be a walk in the park. We will challenge you physically and mentally to see what you're made of. Challenge Week is a competition where everyone is split into FOUR Teams - YELLOW, RED, GREEN and BLUE. Over the course of the week, you will be challenged to turn up to as many sessions as you can to support your Team and help capture the Challenge Week Cup. It is a group effort and a big part of that involves working together to support your Team mates of all fitness abilities.

The research is overwhelming that creating a support network of encouraging people is one of the most effective ways to reach your goals. Challenge Week will help you create that network.
Week 2: Recovery Week - Regeneration & recharge techniques to help you manage stress, stay injury free and leave you feeling a million bucks. As you increase your exercise volume and work out more, you also need to give back to your body by making certain recovery and regeneration rituals a part of your repertoire. You do not get results from the workout itself, you you get results from recovering from the workout. You're going to be working out like an athlete so you need to employ recovery techniques like an athlete too. We'll cover some important aspects of recovery including post-workout nutrition, massage and stretching among others.
Week 3: Maximize Metabolism - Time to re-focus and employ the best exercise and nutrition strategies to fire up the body's fat burning furnace. You'll learn the non-negotiables of a balanced and effective exercise program that activates lean muscle and strips away body fat to help you transform your body in record time.

We'll also show you why diets are so disastrous to your metabolism even if they've helped you lose weight in the past. We'll teach you to eat healthy, metabolism boosting, tasty foods that give you an abundance of energy and keep you feeling full and satisfied all day long.





Week 4: Crush it with Confidence - Techniques to boost motivation, change your mindset and overcome self-limiting beliefs. We'll share ways with you to stay positive, optimistic and in control of your health. When you're fit, lean, healthy & strong, everything in life is better richer and more rewarding - EVERYTHING!
